Villain Evil Genius Workshop at the Dr’s. laboratory

Bowing to pressure from some, and with gasps by others, the Dr is opening his laboratory for carefully selected members of the LOPV to come and build and learn the arts that can make each of them into an evil genius.
We are very pleased to announce the masterminds behind SteamyTech will be joining us to provide kits and lots of bits from their own laboratory for you to bash into creations of your own. They will be bringing a version of their Maker Night so you can make key rings or bottle openers with the villain logo at a special Villain price of only $10! Our local villains will be doing workshops in other mediums and we’ll have weaponry you can redesign to fit your particular desires.
Paints and glue and lots of odd bits will be available to help finish your creations. As we get closer to the event we’ll detail some of the things you’ll be able to build. Some things may require a fee or charge but many won’t.
Since this will probably be a warm Sacramento afternoon, casual villain wear is just fine. If it’s a hot day, feel free to bring a swimsuit for a cooling dip in the pool as a break from creating evil devices. Snacks and drinks will be provided, but please feel free to bring anything you want for yourself or to share.

Steamy Tech is so very delighted to be part of the Evil Genius Workshop. We will have a table with a some kits and spinners with us, but mostly it will be all about the workshop. So, what will we be doing?
* We’re bringing a bag from scrap mountain of wonderful things to play with and build from. We’ll do a scrap build contest from it — Grand Prize a Steamy Tech Fidget Spinner!
* We will do workshops for $10 to build a key chain or bottle opener with the Villains logo. (This can happen anytime, so just come see us and we’ll get you setup).
* And finally, we will have kits available to build as part of our “Maker Night” experience. We’re planning to build our Hops Coaster for just $20. Our current plan is to do the build together as a group at about 4pm (that is if anyone wants to join in). So, if you want to join the fun come by early and we’ll get you the pieces to decorate.
