A Steampunk High Tea and Tour at Baker Street West

Welcome steampunks of all Leagues and Societies to Baker Street West for an Afternoon High Tea. The upper floor of the Hein & Company Bookstore, in Jackson, California has been transformed into a bit of historic Victorian London. Imagine being secretly ushered into the study of 221B Baker street – The home of Mr. Sherlock Holmes! Mrs. Hudson will lead you on a tour of the home of the world’s most famous detective, where every little artifact has a story to tell from his numerous cases and adventures. Several other shops line this amazing space and all will be open for us to tour, including Mrs. Hudson’s Tea Shoppe, Adler’s Emporium, and more!
Scones, tea sandwiches, cookies and fruit, and all the tea one can drink will be served in the Victorian Square at Baker Street West. They can accommodate Vegetarian and Gluten-Free options. Make sure to note your preferences when purchasing your tickets. The tour of Mr. Sherlock Holmes’ and Dr. Watson’s study is included in your entry.
This event is jointly hosted by the Admins of The League of Proper Villains and the Sacramento Steampunk Society. The amount for this adventure and tea is $35 per person, paid in advance. Sorry, no day-of ticket sales will be available, and we are limited on space, so purchase your tickets early and don’t miss out! The deadline to purchase tickets was extended to April 26th and signups for the event are now closed. We look forward to seeing those of you who are coming. We have special surprises awaiting you!

Carpooling is encouraged – Jackson is a short drive from Sacramento. If you would like to get there early for exploring the Hein & Company Bookstore below the event space is a fabulous place to browse, full of nooks and crannies. And Jackson has lots of antique stores and other fun places!
